Edenthorpe Parish Council are delighted that Eden Fields, the new development off Mere Lane have used names from Edenthorpe War Memorial for their street names.
In earlier discussions with Avant Homes, we put these forward along with the remaining thoroughfares to be named after birds. So far the roads named are, Sillence Rd, Moody Way, Lickley Drive, Darley Close and Gore Drive. Chappell has already been used on the entrance road to The Bader Academy and we are assured that Everitt will be used in the next phases of build. Our Chairman, David Milnes has informed the families.
