Edenthorpe Neighbourhood Planning Referendum
Edenthorpe residents, thank you to all of you who took the time to vote and answer the question, “Do you want Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Edenthorpe to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?” The turnout was a 29.65% , which is one of the highest turnouts in Doncaster for a Neighbourhood Plan Referendum.
The results gave a positive outcome for the document which will now be used for future planning applications in Edenthorpe. The votes of yes were 950, votes of no -190, with 23 rejected ballot papers.
Edenthorpe Neighbourhood Plan will now be formally adopted by Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council.
