Successful Litter Pick 29.3.18

Thank you to those who volunteered on Thursday afternoon to litter pick around Edenthorpe. A total of 38 bags of rubbish were collected. Our village is looking so much better. Hopefully the message will be clear to all – Don’t drop your rubbish, take it home with you!

The blue bins should help with the recycling collections too. No longer will items be blown from the green boxes around the streets, as these are now  just for glass.

Everyone in Edenthorpe and Kirk Sandall are invited to enjoy some Easter fun on Saturday 31st March 2018 at Edenthorpe Community Centre, Cedric Rd, 2-4pm.

Life Church Doncaster will be providing a host of free activities including Easter games, crafts for children and adults. A conjuror, puppet show, refreshments and of course an Easter egg hunt. For more information please contact Pastor Les Budhi on 07786967025.

At our Parish Council meeting on Monday 5.3.18 we organised a date for a litter pick around Edenthorpe. We have very kindly been offered the loan of some grabbers from DMBC and have been given some bin bags from ‘Keep Britain Tidy’. We will meet in the overflow car park at Tesco Edenthorpe at 1pm on Thursday 29th March 2018.  All welcome.
