Carol Singing on The War Memorial Green

First time event.

Please join us to mark the beginning of the festive season for carol singing under the tree. Rev S Beck from Canon Popham Church will be leading us in song. Edenthorpe Resident of the Year 2017  Jen Oxley will do the big switch on of the Christmas tree lights.  This is a brand new tradition for Edenthorpe!

Enjoy a festive menu of mince pies and mulled wine. We  look forward to seeing you there – Friday 1st December 2017 at 6.30pm.

Thank to brother and sister duo, Fraser and Felicity,  who very kindly designed these posters. They are fab!

EDENTHORPE RESIDENT OF THE YEAR 2017

Congratulations Jen Oxley.

Huge congratulations go to Edenthorpe Resident of the Year 2017 – Jen Oxley.

Jen was presented with this new award at Park Social club after the Remembrance ceremony on Sunday 12th November 2017.

Edenthorpe Parish Council wanted to thank Jen on behalf of the residents of Edenthorpe for all the hard work she has completed over the last few years. Jen has  revamped many areas of the village transforming them into gardens. She has dug up weeds, nettles, litter picked, removed dog excrement left by unscrupulous dog owners and then replanted the areas, which has resulted in the transformation of Snickety Gardens, The Flower Plot, Crescent Gardens and the latest area – Growena Gardens. These were all previously an overgrown mess!

Rosie Winterton, Fred Gee and Anne Flanagan presented Jen with a few gifts of thanks.

Well done Jen – Edenthorpe Resident of the Year 2017.
