Edenthorpe Community Centre is situated in Cedric Road opposite the junction with Rowena Avenue. Built in 1986, it replaced St Hilda’s Hall that had stood on the site for over 50 years. The construction of the new building was financed by local fundraising supplemented by grants from various sources. The Centre is owned by Edenthorpe Parish Council and run by Edenthorpe Community Centre Association, a registered charity. A wide range of activities takes place in the Centre, details of which are given below.
